my story

In 2006 I found myself as a single mom on a very tight budget. Christmas was coming and I had no idea how I would pay for presents for my girls. A few friends asked me how much I'd charge to take Christmas Card Photos of their families and my business was born.

Over time I have evolved my business to serve couples on one of the most important days of their lives. Being a wedding photographer is a demanding job that I honestly enjoy doing. I am best at capturing the events of a wedding day which tell the story of their love, emotions and events.

My clients tell me that I'm easy to work with. What it really boils down to is that I love working with them. I am happy to say that my brides become my friends.

When I started shooting weddings, I mentored under pros from Austin and Houston. They have not only instilled in me the skill and creativity for wedding photography but also for continuing to hone my craft. I attend workshops and professional development as often as possible.


Personally, I am a woman with many tasks. I lead my daughters' Girl Scout troop (Anyone need some cookies?). I enjoy cooking with my husband, Ron, eating what we cook and drinking wine with my girlfriends.

When I'm not working, I can be found enjoying my family in our home. We enjoy gardening and cooking. We watch too much TV and can never laugh enough.
