Welcome to Robinwood Photography, I'm happy you're here! My name is Susan Wolfer-Lennex and I live in Round Rock, Texas with my loving family and 3 dogs. I am passionate about crafts, cooking, Girl Scouts, music, spending time with loved ones, and of course, photography.

As a child I couldn’t wait to see Polaroid pictures develop. Back then, my father and grandfather were always in charge of the family photography and nothing thrilled me more than going with one of them to pick up a roll of film at the "Foto Hut". My passion for taking pictures blossomed when my first daughter was born. Since I now had a ready made model and a brand new camera, it was the perfect fit. I soaked it up like a sponge, and rapidly grew in my understanding of the art of photography, so it didn't take long for me to outgrow my point-and-shoot camera. At that time, I received my first SLR film camera and eventually migrated into the Digital realm... and I haven't looked back since!

Since it's one of my great passions, my mind is on photography quite a bit, and I'm always looking for next great shot, so I have my camera with me most of the time. I strive to capture that moment which might be missed if I wasn’t there with the camera. Today, I look back at the photos in my daughters’ scrapbooks and I am immediately transported back to that moment, with its smells, sounds, tastes and feelings. Sometimes I find myself tearing up because I find the emotions just as fresh and new, thanks to the images. My sincere hope is for my clients to experience the same type of thing with the moments I capture for them.

I have a distinctive approach, in that I aim for shots that will show my subject in a relaxed and comfortable light.. I also realize that my style is constantly evolving with each subject I photograph….so no two photos will ever be the same.

While mostly self-taught, I owe much of my knowledge to highly experienced photographers who have taught workshops, lead discussions and mentored me along my journey. I am currently enrolled in the Professional Photographer's Course through the New York Institute of Photography and hope to complete the course very soon. I take pleasure in the challenges of the course and the projects assigned in the curriculum. This training has already taken my photography to the next level, and I look forward to the impact it will continue to have.

Congratulations on your engagement! Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life. Photographic coverage of your day will document the moments from getting ready to departing for your wedding night. We chronicle the Details, Preparation, First Look*, Ceremony, Formal portraits, Reception and Departure. Robinwood Photography also offers a fun Photo Booth option for your reception.

*First Look is an intimate session the Bride and Groom can choose to do before the ceremony.

All session fees include print credit. Please contact us for specific pricing. Payment plans are available.
